You should know there’s quite a fuss about a little Palo Alto International Film Festival Soup to Nuts (program)!
If you’re a youth from age 6 to 18 you can take advantage of this opportunity to learn the business of filmmaking from active filmmakers. Seamus and Tyler will be making the rounds at this year’s PAIFF and getting the next generation of screen artisans on the right foot to successful futures in filmmaking!
The courses offered are: Intro to Filmmaking: Soup to Nuts (Ages 6-8), Intro to Filmmaking: Soup to Nuts (Ages 9-12), Intro to Filmmaking: Soup to Nuts (Ages 13-15), Advanced High School Filmmaker Workshop (16-18).

This workshop will take students behind the scenes and expose them to the entire workflow film production. Students will be learn the importance of pre-production including storyboarding, shot lists, casting and finance; the process of production from directing and camera operation to craft services and call sheets; the power of post-production including editing, color correction and the magnitude of distribution strategy and social media marketing will all be covered.
Seamus and Tyler are the co-founders of tenandtwo, a San Francisco based creative agency specializing in the innovation, education, and production of digital media. Prior to tenandtwo, they held positions with The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, a non-profit mobile recording studio based out of New York City, as Senior Producer and Creative Coordinator respectively. During their tenure with the Lennon Bus, Seamus and Tyler toured the nation producing digital media projects with thousands of students, educators, corporate sponsors, executives, press, politicians, and celebrity artists including: The Black Eyed Peas and Yoko Ono. Seamus and Tyler also develop curriculum for Digital Media Academy with a focus on immersion learning, hidden curriculum, and real world experience. They are Apple Certified Trainers of FCP X, FCP 7, Logic Pro 9 and Apple Certified Users of Motion and Seamus is a Fellow at Stanford University pursuing an MFA in Documentary Film and Video. They are currently completing an original pilot to be pitched to major studios.
