Playing @ Slamdance: “Terms and Conditions May Apply”

An interesting film slated to play at the 2013 Slamdance Film Festival, Terms and Conditions May Apply strikes us as a coming-of-age exposé on just how silly we have all gotten when it comes to taking a few moments to see what we’ve signed up for.  Maybe, somewhere down the road, a company will come along to take advantage of this but until then – Terms and Conditions May Apply!

Below are two vimeo previews, along with a short description:

More on the Film:

Have you ever read the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies connected to every website you visit, phone call you make, or app you use?

….Of course you haven’t.

This compelling documentary explores the intent hidden within these ridiculous agreements, and reveals what corporations and governments are legally taking from you, and the real world consequences that result, from clicking “I accept”.
