Alix Depauw, famously known as Alix Perez, is a visionary drum and bass DJ and producer hailing from Charleroi, Belgium, and currently based in New Zealand. Starting his musical journey at the tender age of 14, Perez quickly honed his craft, becoming a prolific figure in the drum and bass scene. His eclectic DJ style, characterized by deep, emotionally resonant tracks, has captivated audiences worldwide. Founding his own record label, 1985 Music, in 2016, he expanded his creative horizons, embracing genres like dubstep, halftime, and IDM. Collaborating with renowned artists such as Eprom under the alias Shades, Perez continues to push the boundaries of electronic music while leaving an indelible mark on the global music landscape.
